Terms of use
The basis on which ACHRC publishes this website, and the limits of everything on it.

Acceptance
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may revise the terms when our practices or obligations change; material changes are reflected on this page with an updated date.
Who we are, and what we are not
Anti-Corruption And Human Rights Council is a registered society under the telangana societies registration act. We are not a government body, a statutory authority, a regulator, a court, or a tribunal. We hold no statutory power. We cannot compel any authority to act, direct or conduct an investigation, impose a penalty, or guarantee any outcome from any office.
Nothing here is legal advice
Everything on this website — including guidance pages, publications, templates, and answers to frequently asked questions — is general information published in the public interest. It is not legal advice, it is not tailored to your circumstances, and using it does not create any lawyer-client relationship between you and ACHRC or anyone associated with it.
We do not represent anyone before any court or tribunal. Where a matter needs legal representation, we refer to the legal services authorities or to independent practitioners, and the decision to act on that referral is yours.
Accuracy and currency
We take care to publish only what can survive a hostile reading, and every publication carries the date it was last revised. Even so, law, procedure, timelines, helpline numbers, and the identity of public authorities change. We do not warrant that any page is current, complete, or applicable to your situation at the moment you read it. Verify anything you intend to rely on.
If you find an error, tell us. Corrections are published with the date of the original error and the date of the correction rather than edited in quietly.
Forms and submissions
Submitting a form does not create any obligation on ACHRC to act, and does not by itself begin any assistance, case, or membership. Sending information to us does not interrupt, extend, or preserve any limitation period, appeal window, or statutory deadline that applies to your matter. Those deadlines remain yours to observe.
Please do not send us material you are not entitled to share, and do not use our forms to submit anything unlawful, defamatory, or intended to harass another person. We may decline any submission without giving reasons.
Emergencies
This website is not monitored continuously and is not an emergency channel. If there is an immediate risk to safety, contact the emergency services on 112 rather than writing to us. Other statutory helplines are listed on our resources page.
Reproduction and intellectual property
Our publications, templates, and educational material may be copied, translated, printed, and distributed freely, including by other organisations, provided the source is named and the text is not altered in a way that changes its meaning — in particular, the passages setting out limits must be carried across intact.
The ACHRC name and mark are not covered by that permission. They may not be used in a way that suggests authorship, endorsement, affiliation, or approval that has not been given. Requests for permitted use of the mark should go to [email protected].

We link to statutory authorities, helplines, and other organisations where doing so is useful. We do not operate those services, cannot influence how they respond, and are not responsible for their content, availability, or conduct. A link is a pointer, not an endorsement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ACHRC and its office-bearers, members, staff, and volunteers are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the content of this website, from any action or inaction of a third party we have referred you to, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
