A rights organisation that only ever explains remedies will lose the trust of people whose immediate problem is a school admission or a scheme entitlement. This programme handles those, and treats them as rights questions rather than charity.

Educational support

Guidance on scheme eligibility, admission entitlements, and scholarship processes — including what documentation is required and which office issues it. Where a refusal appears improper, the matter moves to the legal aid desk rather than being dropped.

Counselling and referral

Community counselling on welfare entitlements: which scheme applies, what the applicant must produce, and where an application has actually stalled. Most stalled applications are not refusals; they are incomplete files sitting with an office nobody has followed up with.

Health and community outreach

Where capacity permits, we support awareness outreach on public health entitlements and connect households to services they are already eligible for.

The framing matters

We describe these as entitlements, not favours. A person collecting what a scheme owes them is exercising a right, and the language we use in sessions reflects that.

Limits

We do not administer benefits, hold funds on anyone's behalf, or guarantee any outcome from an application. Where a matter needs a specialist service, an accurate referral is more useful than an attempt to handle it ourselves.
